| Artist's Statement I have enjoyed creating art since the time I was small. My parents were very supportive but didn’t particularly appreciate it when I found the need to exhibit my creativity on the walls. As part of my high school curriculum, I worked as an art teacher at a grade school in my community. During my college years, I continued my passion for art by declaring it my major. However, after getting married and having children, it became necessary to join the business world which left no time for painting. I had to put that part of my life on hold for the time being. About eleven years ago I felt the need to begin painting again and enrolled in classes at the prestigious Minnesota River School of Fine Art. After numerous classes, I felt I was ready to pursue a career as an artist. I have since become an award winning artist and am fortunate enough to share my God given gift with many kind people from around the world. I want to thank you for your kind words and for allowing me to get to know you. The experiences I have shared with you have been far more rewarding than I could have ever imagined. |
